Health Policy Insight can exclusively reveal that Andrew Lansley (saviour, liberator) is not the reincarnation of Edith Piaf.
Specifically, this is because in a spirit contrary to La Môme's infamous song of defiance, Our Saviour And Liberator has a regret.

Mr Lansley's regret about the Health Act's tortuous passage was revealed in his interview with Andrew Neil on BBC1's Sunday Politics today.
At 14 minutes 9 seconds in to the interview, Andrew Neil asked Mr Lansley (saviour, liberator) if he had any regrets.
Mr Lansley said, “Yes, I do have a regret. The regret is that … a year ago we had to pause the legislation to have a fuller engagement with NHS staff. It’s perfectly clear that although we consulted on the White Paper more than 18 months ago, actually many of the organisations who responded didn’t actually get to grips with what was in the legislation. So to have had that kind of engagement with the NHS Future Forum would have been better earlier”.
Mmm.
I thought you were meant to do April Fools before mid-day?
